About MeaNS database

The aim of this initiative is to develop a web-accessible global repository consisting of quality-controlled nucleotide data for Measles infection. This database system can be used as a tool for research and also can serve as a resource for those involved in Measles case management.

MeaNS was designed as a curated, central repository of Measles sequence data retrieved from the public domain sources as well as data submitted by the national and regional Measles laboratories.

This new web database development is currently funded by the HPA, is curated by the Virus Reference Department (VRD), Centre for Infections (CFI), HPA, and is hosted by the Bioinformatics Unit, CFI, HPA.

Requesting use/citation:
If you wish to submit data or access the database, or to cite it in publications, please email the curators (Means-Admin AT hpa.org.uk).
